Bio 

Ingrid Christensen is a modern Impressionist whose focus is on the complex effect of light on colour.   She is in demand as a painting instructor, teaching oil painting in Calgary, AB, and workshops throughout western Canada.   In 2017, Ingrid had the good fortune to travel to the UK to film several Winsor & Newton Masterclass videos which she had written for the series.  

Ingrid's art has won both national and international awards, and her work has been featured in International Artist and Arabella magazines. She lives in Calgary, Alberta, and her paintings are available in galleries in Western Canada and Portland, ME.

She is represented by: Rendezvous Gallery,Vancouver, BC, Tutt Art Gallery, Kelowna, BC., Oceanside Gallery, Qualicum Beach, BC, Roux and Cyr International Fine Art Gallery, Portland, Maine. 

Collections

Ingrid's paintings are held in the offices of the Alberta Pharmacy Association, who comissioned her to create their Centennial artwork, The Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and  in private collections throughout the world.
